PURPOSE:To produce a one-side zinc-plated sheet steel in a short time without giving any grinding flaws etc. to the sheet steel by dissolving and peeling the zinc on one side of the sheet steel having been zinc hot dipped on both sides through electrolysis and pickling. CONSTITUTION:A sheet steel 1 which has been zinc hot dipped on both sides is passed in a U shape through an electrolytic cell 2 contg. electrolyte 3, by means of a sink roll 6. At this time, a cathode 5 is disposed on the inner side of the U- shaped sheet steel and current is supplied by using the sheet steel itself as anode. The zinc of the surface of the sheet steel 1 opposing to the cathode 5 dissolves into the electroltye 3, and shifts to the cathode 5, thus the plating zinc is removed. If the anode 4 is disposed on the outer side of the sheet steel 1, the dessolved zinc electrodeposits on the opposing surface of the anode 4. In this way, the one-side zinc plated sheet steel which is removed of the platinc zinc on one side 7 and is zinc plated on the other side 8 is obtained. The sheet steel electrolytically stripped of the plating layer on one side is pickled with a pickling soln. of hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc. according to need, whereby the zinc alloy layer including the residual plating layer is removed. |
