PURPOSE:To enhance ejection stability, ejection response and continuous recordability, by adding acetylacetone to a recording solution used for ink jet recording. CONSTITUTION:At least 2%, based on the total weight of a recording solution, acetylacetone is added to the recording solution, used for ink jet recording, in which a droplet ejected from an ejection hole located at a recording head, is flied onto a recording surface. The purpose recording solution is obtained by using, as a liquid medium, acetylacetone alone or a mixture with a liquid medium component such as water, isopropyl alcohol or diethylene glycol, and dissolving or dispersing a dye or a pigment in the liquid medium. A printed image recorded by use of the recording sobution, is distinct because of high contrast and has excellent light resistance. |
