<p>PURPOSE:To increase the durability of a bead part remarkably by arranging a proper additional reinforcing layer in the bead part. CONSTITUTION:A carcass 3 is composed of two sheets of plies 3a and 3b formed of polyester fiber cords. To the fold 3' of the carcass wound back around a bead core 2 is attached the bead-part reinforcing layer 5 formed of steel cords. Furthermore, the additional reinforcing layers 6a and 6b prepared by arranging polyamido fibers are provided between the plies 3a and 3b and between rubber stocks 4 and 4' in the lower half area of the carcass 3 and in parallel to the cords of the plies 3a and 3b. In the C tire thus reinforced by these additional reinforcing layers 6a and 6b, the separation of the bead part which occurs frequently in the upper end part of the bead-part reinforcing layer 5 in the radius direction of the tire is eliminated and thereby the durability of the tire can be increased.</p> |
