<p>A suspension system for a member such as a vehicle chassis 14 having wheels 10, 11, 12, 13 on which it is supported at four corners, piston and cylinder units 32, 33, 34, 35, at each corner being arranged to control movement under changing load conditions, and each unit having upper and lower chambers, the lower chamber in one unit 32 being connected to the upper chamber in an adjacent unit 33 and the upper chamber in unit 32 being connected to the lower unit in the other adjacent unit 34, the connections between all the units 32, 33, 34, 35 forming a closed circuit, whereby movement at one position tends to produce movement at an adjacent position in the same sense.</p> |
