PURPOSE:To realize a miniature, lightweight pickup cartridge by improving its fabrication while decreasing the number of parts, by generating electricity through a coil according to vibrations of a stylus by utilizing magnetic flux in an open magnetic field extending from one magnetic pole flank of a permanent magnet to the other magnetic pole flank. CONSTITUTION:Armature 5 having the implanted base of cantilever 4 equipped stylus 3 atop and wound with coil 6 is provided opposing to one magnetic pole flank of a permanent magnet having both ends magnetized differing in polarity. Main cartridge part 1 is incorporated in cartridge body 12 of cartridge 11 and cartridge body 12 is installed in housing 13. Body 12 has four implanted pins 14 to be connected to respective coils 6, and signals obtained through respective coils 6 are led as right and left channel signals to connector pin 16 projected from the back surface of body 12 via capacitors 15 connected in parallel to coils 6 respectively. |
