The ultrasonic cleaning device has a pocket size receptacle (8) wherein are housed a cleaning trough (27) subjected to ultrasounds and filled with a liquid and a sterilization container (37) filled with another liquid and arranged so as it may be heated. The cleaning trough (27) and the sterilization container (37) are comprised each of two separate parts (4-7) in each of which a contact lens (36) provided with a basket may be arranged. The parts (4-7) are covered by a tight cover (26) hinged onto the receptacle.
