PURPOSE:To prevent an adverse effect due to the interference of a coexistent component in a specimen by heating the density of an objective component to be measured and a coexistent component in a specimen or reducing them with the help of reduction means. CONSTITUTION:The halfway section of a specimen measuring pipe 12 is formed to a shape susceptible of heat and a heating part 31 is formed being passed through a hydrogen flame 6 or near its external circumference, so that a specimen in a specimen measurement pipe 12 is heated by hydrogen flame 6 to reduce the density of the specimen. However, if left as it is, the density of measured components in a specimen is reduced. Therefore, a flow in the specimen measurement pipe 12 needs to be increased by adjusting a pressure adjustment device. Under this constitution, the output level of a light intensity of the flame light of an objective component to be quantitatively measured in a specimen does not make much difference. But on account of an eased interference with a flame light intensity meter by the coexistent component following reduction of the density of a specimen gas, it is possible to improve measurement precision. |
