<p>PURPOSE:To make the attaching strength of the fastener elements constant, by clamping an element securing side edge part of the fastener tape by an ultrasonic horn and anvil teeth to melt them to provide holes therein, cooling and setting the holes with the teeth engaged in the holes, and injection molding the fastener elements into the holes. CONSTITUTION:The side edge part for securing the elements (e) of the fastener tape (t) delivered under a certain tension is clamped between the ultrasonic horn 6 and the teeth 8 of the anvil 7, the clamped tape edge part is provided with the equi-spaced holes (h) by melting the part by said ultrasonic horn 6 and the teeth 8. Then, with the teeth 8 engaged in the holes (h), the fastener tape is cooled to set the holes. The fastener elements are injection molded into the holes 8 provided in the one side edge part of the fastener tape.</p> |
