PURPOSE:To compensate deviation of deflection position due to the variation of viscosity of the ink and to obtain a stable recording picture quality by a method wherein the ink viscosity is detected and the ink pressure is adjusted in accordance with the viscosity. CONSTITUTION:The ink in an ink tank 80 is sucked by a pump 100 through a filter 90, discharged into an accumulation 110 and then supplied to a recording head 10 through an electromagnetic valve 120. The voltage of a strain gauge 112 is inverted and amplified in an arithmetic amplifier OPA1, the voltage of a resistor 140R is inverted and amplified by an arithmetic amplifier OPA2 and they are applied respectively to a differential amplifier DAM. Now, when an output voltage V1 of the OPA1 (inversely propoytional to the ink pressure) is >=0 and an output voltage V2 of the OPA2 (inversely proportional to the viscosity) is >=0, the output voltage V3 of the amplifier DAM is k(V1-V2); the higher the ink pressur is and the lower the viscosity is, the smaller the V3 is. Therefore, the pressure is controlled in proportion to an intended viscosity and the electrical currents are supplied to the pump 100 repeatedly and alternately. |
