PURPOSE:To simplify the apparatus and to make the observation easy, by continuously varying the acceleration voltage of electron beam generating continuous X-ray by giving shock to the target and irradiating X-ray radiated from the target on filmy sample. CONSTITUTION:The target 2 e.g. molybdenum generating continuous X-ray in a long wavelength domain is arranged at one end of the vessel 1 and the thermion discharging cathode 3 made of tungsten filament is provided so as to opposite to each other. Further, the aluminum foil for sample holding 4 is stretched through the electrod 3 so as to opposite to the target 2 with each other and the bottomed cylindrical photoelectron discharging cathode 5 and the rod-shaped photoelectron collecting anode 6 arranged on its central axis are provided on the back. Thus, the apparatus is simplified and measurement is easily carried out because of the quick measurement by only changing the target voltage. |
