Force transformer with at least two concentric circular- cylindrical windings 2, 3, of which at least the innermost winding's 2 conductors consist of a band or sheet. In order to prevent buckling of the inner winding 2 during short circuit, the inner winding has support against the outer winding and is provided with an inner calibrated cylinder 5 of metal material.
