The device for feeding articles intended for boxing, and their boxing means along a boxing line of a packaging machine comprises a uniting zone (V) where the articles (10) to be boxed are fed together with an unfolded box (11), whereupon the boxing then takes place in a boxing zone (E) and subsequently delivery transport takes place under the effect of a pressing power for glueing the box (11). In this case, means are provided in the uniting zone (V) for producing a synchronous transport speed between the articles (10) and their boxing means (11). Furthermore, means are provided for the rapid adjustment of the clear width between pairs of pressing-on and carrying members (6, 8) for the boxing processes (10, 11) and means for synchronous accompanying adjustment at least of the carriers (4) for the boxing means (11). These measures allow rapid readjustment or correction of the machine in the case of changing products or changing operating conditions. <IMAGE>
