PURPOSE:To enable a sheet to be repositioned to its correct position despite setting with minor deviation by controlling photoelectric elements for reading the original images and correcting the position deviation of the original. CONSTITUTION:An original scanning unit starts scanning along an original setting platen 30, and at the moment when its sensor 34 crosses the leading end of the original on the original platen 30, the output signals thus far by a sensor group 34 stop. This causes the previous priority conditions of a solid-state sensor 6 which scans by jumping over the entire photodetecting region thereof to be released, and the main scanning of a CCD6 is started. Additionally, the rotation of a resist roller 40 is resumed to carry out conveying of copying paper. Hence, the main scanning is started with a delay for the original which has caused the deviation of the leading end and the feed is so controlled that the transfer paper adapts to this scanning delay. |
