PURPOSE:To eliminate the dispersion of creep torque by correcting a desired idle rotational speed by learning control to determine a desired creep rotational speed from the corrected rotational speed and desired engine rotational speed drop amount property when the idle rotational speed deviation exceeds a certain value. CONSTITUTION:A continuously variable transmission 10 supplies oil pressure discharged from an oil pump 42, regulated by a relief valve 40 and controlled by a pulley controlling valve 43 and a start controlling valve 45 to an oil pressure chamber 18 of the driven side pulley 14 and a start clutch 20 respectively. Thus, the change gear ratio and the torque voltage capacity of start clutch 20 are controlled. The start controlling valve 45 is controlled on the basis of the desired creep rotational speed. Then, when cooling water temperature is within the operational region of a automatic choke device 1a and the deviation of idle rotational speed in the non-travelling region is certain value or more, a desired idle rotational speed is corrected in the direction of reducing the deviation to determine a desired creep rotational speed from the corrected rotational speed and desired rotation drop amount property. |
