The system has the air fed to the room circulated through a cleaning chamber contg. an aqueous hydrobromic acid solution or a bromide solution. This solution is circulated around a path allowing ozone or active O2 injection and it is returned to the cleaning chamber via a cleaning filter. The solution is sprayed into the chamber at the top for mixing with the air which flows from the bottom to the top of the chamber. The cleaning solution is supplied with bromide or hydrobromic acid and with ozone or active O2 and water for maintaining the required conc and ozone level, during its circulation.
