<p>PURPOSE:To attain to prevent solidification of dust and to reduce heat loss by a method wherein the waste gas in the apparatus is displaced by heated air with a specific temp. or more in stopping operation of a dust collector and, thereafter, said heated air is recirculated in the apparatus to lower a temp. of said air. CONSTITUTION:In stopping the operation of the dust collector 3 temporarily, a damper 5 is closed, a rotary feeder 21 is stopped, an opening degree of a damper 14 in an exhaust duct 11 is reduced appropriately, one of a damper 17 of a duct 15 is opened, and subsequently, a damper 19 is gradually opened and air is introduced by the action of a fan 13 from an introducing duct 20. Air is heated to a deliquescence temp. or more of CaCl2 corresponding to moisture of the waste gas by a heater 18 and the waste gas in the apparatus 3 is displaced by said heated air to exhaust said waste gas from a chimney 12. After displacing, the dampers 14, 19 are closed and the damper 16 is opened to recirculate the heated air through the apparatus 3 and a temp. of the recirculated air is lowered to a temp. little higher than the deliquescence temp. of CaCl2 corresponding to air moisture and maintained at that temp.</p> |
