PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution of a spectral analyzer by squaring and integrating digital signals within a given frequency band and drawing out the accumulated value as a spectral component included in the given frequency band. CONSTITUTION:The input signal is converted into a digital signal by an analog/ digital converter A/D. A band-pass filter BPF allows signals within a given band to be multiplied in a squaring circuit SQ to obtain squared signals, which are applied to a summing circuit SUM. The signal about the state one sample before is drawn out of a delay element Z<-1> and applied to the summing circuit SUM to accumulate successively. From the summing circuit SUM, a spectral component included in the given frequency band is outputted. |
