<p>PURPOSE: To shorten the response time of a powder flow rate adjustment by measuring a powder flow rate and a carrier conduit pressure and outputting these with respective time constants, control a gas feeding speed and setting the time constant of the former longer than that of the latter. CONSTITUTION: Carrier gas supplied from an entrance conduit 28 is passed through an orifice 22, absorbs the powder 14 of a hopper 12 by a pickup 21, and then supplied through a carrier conduit 20 to a spray gun 24. Then, a flow rate loop 56 measures a flow rate by measuring a change in the weight of the hopper 12 by a load cell, and a control signal is outputted with a first time constant from an electronic signal adjuster 60. Also, a pressure control loop 78 measures the pressure of the carrier conduit 20, and outputs a control signal with a second time constant. At this time, the first time constant > the second is set. A controller 92 controls the speed of supplying gas based on both of these control signals. Thus, a response time is shortened.</p> |
