The scaffolding equipment comprises a series of uprights with sets of sockets at intervals along them, secured rigidly by means of wedges (8) to the forks of lengthwise and cross-members. The fork prongs have slots to match the taper of the wedges. The cross-members (2) at least are movable in relation to the forks (5) within a theoretical cone whose apex is situated at the connection between the cross-member and the fork. This connection can comprise a C-shaped stirrup (4), welded solidly to the cross-member after hooking into the fork.
