An apparatus for weighing powdered material and liquid and admixing the powder into the liquid, is structurally simplified relative to known apparatuses of this type, requiring three containers and two weights for functioning, into only comprising two containers and one weight. The apparatus comprising the two containers 2 and 3 and a pump 8 is to this end designed as a unit 1 suspended from the weight 4. In use, a desired amount of liquid is supplied to one container 2, being metered by means of the weight, and a desired amount of powder also metered by means of the weight is supplied to the other container 3. Subsequently, the liquid is brought to circulate through the pump 8 and the powder is introduced into its suction pipe 7 and thereby admixed into the liquid. The apparatus may further be equipped with means 14 for heating the liquid, and connected to the delivery side of the pump. <IMAGE>
