A. serrated punch 17 is subsequently used as in Fig. 8 to form the grooves 9 in projection 8. The sheets 1 and 2 are then interfitted and sealed about their edges. Spacing dimples may also be punched in the sheets 1 and 2, the dimples in one sheet being swaged to those in the other to provide through passages for combustion air.
