The frame of the seat is in three sections which are hinged together so that they can be swivelled into a horizontal bed position or can have the backrest (5) brought into an upright back supporting position. When swivelled into the horizontal position the foot rest and back rest sections are supported on the ground by supports (4,6) which are held locked by stays (13,14). Pull-out tables or trays can be fitted beneath the seat and can be extended either left or right. Three interconnected cushions are pref. provided for extra comfort.
