<p>The transmission unit has belts working between pairs of discs hydrostatically adjusted in relation to each other in the axial direction, being particularly for a motor vehicle. In opposition to their hydrostatic setting, discs (3,4) axially adjustable in relation to each other on a shaft (1) are moved dependent on the load by the belts (10,11) under the effect of ramp faces in relation to discs on a second shaft. The ramp faces transmit torque as the discs turn in relation to the shaft, adjusting the discs (3-6) axially, and generating pressure between them and the belts to match the load.</p> |
