Process for the preparation of hydrogen-doped lithium nitride either by reacting lithium and nitrogen in the presence of lithium amide and/or lithium imide, or by reacting lithium nitride with lithium amide and/or lithium imide. This process affords an easier preparation of hydrogen-doped lithium nitride and improves the possibility of increasing the level of doping.
