<p>The tool is esp. for the clamping of two work pieces, which are to be connected, and are joined flat or mitred. It consists of a clamping unit and two relatively adjustable parallel clamping studs. During clamping, the studs engage into the material of the work pieces, on either side of the connection point. The tool consists of a conventional collet chuck, and the clamping studs (15) are located on the chuck jaws (3,4) at right angles to their movement plane, and near the grip surfaces (18). The facing clamping surfaces (16) of the clamping studs are set back realtive to the grip surface.</p> |
