The nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds of formula <IMAGE> in which a) the symbol R<1> represents a hydrogen atom and R<2> an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or b) the symbol R<1> represents a methyl group and R<2> an alkyl radical containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms, are used for flavouring foods, drinks, pharmaceutical preparations or tobacco. They are more particularly used for flavouring meat, meat-based foods or foods which imitate meat. |
