PURPOSE:A composition capable forming a molded article having improved tensile strength, flexural strength, and compression strength, and dimensional stability with low water absorption properties, obtained by adding a xylylenediamine polyamide to a polyamide resin blended with glass fibers and inorganic fillers. CONSTITUTION:10-50wt% nylon 6 is blended with 20-60 total amount of glass fibers (e.g., chopped strand with length 3-6mm., etc.) and inorganic filler (e.g. calcium carbonate, talc, mica, kaolinite, etc.). This composition is blended with 10-70wt%, preferably 20-30wt% xylylenediamine polyamide [preferably a reaction product of xylylenediamine and 6-12C straight-chain aliphatic dibasic acid (especially adipic acid)] to give the desired composition. EFFECT:Having improved moldability, and the warpage of a molded article is small. |
