<p>PURPOSE:To effectively cancel generated slips and to return to a stable state by detecting a difference between respective speeds of a couple of rolls and a difference between respective loads given to the rolls. CONSTITUTION:Feedback signals of speed and electric current are obtained from a driving motor command devices 4 for upper and lower rolls. A computing element 6 calculates v=pi.R.Gr.N, where, R: roll diameter, Gr: gear ratio, N: feedback signal and also calculates a speed difference of upper and lower rolls. A computing element 7 calculates k=DELTAI/DELTAv and decides whether a value of (k) is in the previously given allowable limit range and gives a computing element 8 a slip state flug. The element 8 outputs a signal increasing a front tension by a constant rate and a signal reducing a rear tension by a constant rate to a controller 4 for reels during a slip state flag is set.</p> |
