PURPOSE:To easily manufacture an electrostatic charge image developing toner with a nonoffset property by polymerizing a monomer, in the presence of an antioffset agent, which becomes a polymer as a constituent of the toner. CONSTITUTION:To a monomer which gives a polymer as a constituent of an electrostatic charge image developing toner when polymerized is added an antioffset agent optionally together with a colorant. Substances sush as a charge controlling agent as toner constituents may be added furthermore. They are then mixed and dispersed or dissolved to prepare a composition for polymn. This composition is polymerized under conditions which cause the polymn. of the monomer. The antioffset agent used includes polyolefins with 1,000-4,500wt average mole weitht metal salts of fatty acids and fatty acid esters. A crosslinking agent for the monomer is preferably added to the composition to produce a crosslinked polymer, or the monomer is preferably polymerized in the presence of a polymer. |
