PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a wiper blade for an automobile wind-shield, by extruding a pair of slender wiper blades symmetrically coupled with each other and by thereafter cutting off the blades from each other along the center. CONSTITUTION:A pair of wiper blades A, which are symmetrically coupled with each other and have recesses 5, 6 and projections 3, 4 with cross-sectional shapes corresponding to the fitting shape of a wiper body B and have wiping tip portions 1 which are soft and triangular and extend continuously to each other, are simultaneously manufactured by extrusion. The blades A are cut off along the middle 7 of the coupled wiping portions 1, 1 so that flat faces and edges are simultaneously provided on the tips of the wiping portions 1, 1. Each separated wiper blade A is cut off to a desired length measured from one end. The blade A is then inserted except for its wiping portion 1 into the fitting hole of the wiper body B so that the blade A is secured. |
