<p>PURPOSE:To omit a detecting switch by using a light emitting element, a light receiving element and a specific operation body to constitute a detecting means for detecting the loading operation of a tape cassette to a body. CONSTITUTION:The detecting means for detecting the loading operation of the tape cassette 1 into the main body 20 is constituted of the light emitting element 14, the light receiving element 15 and the operation body 2d to be moved to open or interrupt an optical path from the element 14 to the element 15 in accordance with the loading operation of the cassette 1. The optical change of the optical path with the operation body 2d is detected, a motor is driven, and a cassette holder 2 storing the tape cassette 1 is moved up to a prescribed recording/reproducing position to load the tape cassette 1. Consequently, the loading operation of the tape cassette 1 can be attained without using a detecting switch.</p> |
