<p>It is known to coat seeds with compositions containing rhizobia bacteria. The bacteria are susceptible to toxic exudates from the seeds. The present invention seeks to over come this drawback by providing a coated legume seed in which the coating comprises a caseinate salt, together with viable rhizobia bacteria of the desired species.</p> |
