PURPOSE:To enable to output the optical signal stored during the original stop period through the read-in with always almost equal level, even if one line processing time is different, by assigning the optical signal storage time and readout time twice at minimum, during one line processing time. CONSTITUTION:After the image of original moved intermittently is formed on the photoelectric conversion elements on one-dimensionally arranged row and optical signal are stored for a given time, and the video signal of one line is read in by scanning the element train. In this case, the sum of twice the optical signal storage time taus and the optical signal readout time tauR is taken not greater than the subtraction from the moving period Ti of original by either greater of the optical signal readout time tauR or the original moving time tM, and the video signal is read in and output from the photoelectric conversion elements at the optical signal readout time started from the time after the time not smaller than the sum between the optical signal storage time taus from the end of movement of the original and the readout time tauR. |
