PURPOSE:To increase a resolution of direction, by forming both a transmssion beam and reception beam within the nearby sound field and then distributing the both beams so as to secure a partial overlap between them. CONSTITUTION:The following component units are provided: the transmitter 1; the anti-TR circuit 2 in which the diodes D1 and D2 are connected adversely; the probe 3 consisting of the oscillators V1, V2 and V3; the TR circuit 4 in which the resistance R is combined with the diodes D3 and D4 connected adversely; and the cathode-ray tube indicator 5 which displays the detected reception signal or the like by the A scope mode. Both said circuits 2 and 4 are usually used in case both the transmitter and the receiver are used in common. Thus the effect of a large amplitude output during transmission is prevented from being given to the reception system to ensure the normal reception of wave. When the transmitter 1 is driven, the oscillators V1 and V2 of the probe 3 function as the transmitter to produce the transmission beam. And the reception is carried out by the oscillators V2 and V3, and the narrow beam forms a range of searching to be used as the input of the indicator 5. |
