PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of the optical multiplex communication, by giving oscillation to a number of semiconductor lasers with different wavelengths and at the same time condensing the oscillated laser beams at one point. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of two solidified plane diffraction grid spectroscopes. The first spectroscope includes the spherical mirror 2 and the plane diffraction grid 3 to set the oscillation wavelength of the semiconductor laser 6 to a prescribed value as well as send the output of the laser to a psecified direction. The second spectrosope consists of the plane diffraction grid 4 and the spherical mirror 5. Another semiconductor laser 7 put at a different position on the focus surface 1 from the laser 6 has an oscillation in the different direction and with different wavelength from the laser 6. The beams sent out in different directions according to their wavelengths are condensed at one point to be sent to the optical fiber which functions as a transmission line. Thus the accuracy can be increased for the optical multiplex communication. |
