PURPOSE:To provide a convenient copier capable of designating an image range looking at the image on an original, by designating, storing, reading out, and copying the desired range of image. CONSTITUTION:When it is desired to copy only an optional part of original 1, input device 7 for designating image position is operated, a coordinate signal on the image is converted and sent to CPU8, original 1 is fed in the arrow direction, remaining upside down, and passes through image read-out device 9 at a constant speed. At that time, laser beams from laser oscillator 10 pass through a lens, they are deflected with a mirror fixed to galvanometer 12, reflected with reflective mirrors 13, 14, and it scans the underside face of original 1 at a specified cycle. The image data in memory 18 is masked at that time by the image position designation signal stored in CPU8 by the preceding partial area designation of original 1, and only the data in the designated area are sent as a copying output signal, thus reproducing an image. |
