PURPOSE:To simplify insertion work and to attempt manufacturing cost reduction by forming a plurality of unit wedges in series wherein the wedges are simultaneously formed. CONSTITUTION:Wedges 11 have the following parts: a. unit wedges 11a fixing a coil 8 inserted in each slot 6a, b. coupling sections 11b connecting anti-insertion ends of the unit wedges in series, and c. inclined sections 11c formed at the insertion end of each unit wedge for easy insertion in each slot 6a. And the wedges 11 are formed to compose the whole part as annular shape. Each unit wedge 11a length in the axis direction is longer than the thickness of the iron core 6 laminated layer and the length is selected to have same or some longer length compared to the insulating paper 7 length in slots 6a. In this way, the insertion of the whole wedge will simply be performed. |
