PURPOSE:To surely make the motor start by waiting the recovery of the voltage of an accumulator up to some value by the operation of a charging circuit and by impressing overlapped output of the accumulator and the charging circuit at the time of starting of the motor where the accumulator is in the state of discharge. CONSTITUTION:As to an electric razor and the like which is available both with the charge-type accumulator 8 and an AC power source 1, a transistor 12 is in the off state when the accumulator 8 is in the state of discharge and the motor 11 does not start even with putting-on of a starting switch 10. Then, first the accumulator 8 is charged by the charging circuit 4 and, when the charge voltage reaches a certain value, a charge controlling circuit 5 operates, and the output of the accumulator 8 and the output from the inverter 6 are overlapped and impressed on the motor 11 to make it start. After that, driving is continued by the output of charging circuit 4. Therefore, such a condition that the current continue to flow while the motor 11 is stopped to cause the destruction of circuit etc. is prevented and thus safe and sure starting can be secured. |
