STATOR FOR ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE

PURPOSE:To prevent the flapping of an iron core by providing escapes on the rear side of ribs at the internal circumference of stator frame shelf plates wherein the ribs are fixed to the plates through an annular belt to easily liberate the growth in the outside diameter direction by temperature rise. CONSTITUTION:A stator frame 5 is closely contacted with the external circumference of an iron core and a plurality of nearly vertical ribs 7 coupling to the iron core by tab tails 6 are also provided. A plurality of annular shelf plates 8-10 are are arranged around the ribs 7. The ribs 7 and the plates 8-10 are fixed by welding. Furthermore, the vicinity of the external circumference of the plates is mutually fixed to an outside plate 11 by welding. A compression member 12 coupling each plate in the up and down direction is also provided at the central part of the plate 8-10 radius direction. Furthermore, escapes 13 locating at the rear side of the ribs 7 are provided at the internal circumference of the plates 8-10. The ribs 7 are fixed to the internal circumference of the plates through an annular belt 14 by welding or the like. In this way, the flapping of the iron core will be prevented.
