PURPOSE:To enhance the stability and reliability of an atomic oscillator by detecting the heater voltage of the oscillator by a detecting circuit for detecting the heater voltage of a constant-temperature tank, producing a stable display signal from the tank and operating a starting pulse generator. CONSTITUTION:The heater voltage of an atomic resonator 6 in a constant-temperature tank is detected by a detector circuit 11. Since the temperatures of the other all constant-temperature tanks are controlled when this constant-temperature tank becomes stable state, a signal indicating that the constant-temperature tank in a tank becomes stable is produced by the detection signal, and a starting pulse generator 1 is operated. When the lamp is turned on, the atomic oscillator instantaneously reaches normal operating state. When such a system is associated with a control system for stopping the operation of a conventional starting pulse generator, the operation of the generator 1 can be limited to minimum. Accordingly, it can enhance the stability and reliability of the atomic oscillator. |
