PURPOSE:To provide a pressure-sensitive material which is excellent in coloring matter-proofness, by applying a microcapsule containing 20% or more specific paraffin oil and a benzhydryl sulfone compound on a support. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion is prepared by adding a benzhydryl sulfone compound, such as 4,4'-bis(dimethylamino)diphenylmethyl-n-octyl sulfone or 4,4'-bis (dimethylamino)diphenylmethyl-n-dodecyl sulfone, to an organic solvent, such as ethanol or propylene glycol containing 20% or more paraffin oil having a boiling point of at least 120 deg.C. Glutaraldehyde, a carboxymethyl starch solution and the like are then added, and caustic soda is added for adjusting the pH to obtain a microcapsule which has a cured wall and is excellent in resistance aganist water and organic solvents. |
