PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a beautiful in-mold decorated molding of high surface strength by providing a thermosetting resin layer of specific hardness on a metal plate, heating the same to half-setting temp. then painting the same with an ink contg. thermomigratory dye and pressure molding the same followed by heating and setting. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin having hardness of >=3H pencil hardness in a perfectly set state is coated on the surface of a metal plate 1 by a roll coating method, a spray coating method or the like, whereby the resin layer 2 is formed. It is then heated to set half and the surface thereof is painted by using an ink contg. a thermomigratory dye 3. After the painting, it is molded to a suitable shape by pressing or the like and is again heated to allow the dye 3 to migrate to the resin layer 2, and allow the resin to set perfectly. |
