OZONE DECOMPOSING FILTER CONSISTING OF MAT MADE OF GLASS FIBER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a filter which is inexpensive, is high in decomposition efficiency and has durability by carrying the active carbon powder stuck with maganese dioxide on the surface on a mat made of glass fibers, as an ozone decomposing filter. CONSTITUTION:Active carbon powder 4 of <=65 meshes grain sizes stuck with manganese dioxide on the surface is carried on a mat 3 made of glass fibers affixed with ribbon-shaped release tapes 1 at four circumferential end parts by means of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, whereby the ozone decomposing filter is provided. All required in an ozone producing place is to remove the release tapes 1 and fix the filter by means of the adhesive agents 2, and the filter decomposes ozones easily with good decomposition efficiency.
