The vibrating table (3) is used in the mfr. of relatively large precast concrete products. It uses uni-directional vertical vibration applied through the substructure, and is designed to receive a standard range of demountable moulds (1, 2) with rapid-action fasteners (4). The deck may be of a ladder construction, using transverse 'I' or channel sections between two longitudinal channel sections, and being mounted on trestles (5). The trestles may comprise 'I' section cross beam (8) spanning cylindrical rubber bearings (7a, 7b) on 'I' section base blocks (6a, 6b). The vibrator may be a slung beam (8) and a laminar rubber bearing (10) may isolate the deck from beam.
