<p>The two-way switch is connected between a pair of two-way three-phase switches to control an electric circuit such as a lamp from three or more positions. The switch comprises two terminals to which respective contact arms are pivoted. The arms are movable simultaneously to switch between respective pairs of further contacts which are cross connected. The switch phases may be reversed using a rotary system. In a simple circuit a supply line is connected to the mobile contact of a three-phase switch whose fixed contacts are connected to the respective mobile contacts of the four-phase switch. The latter's fixed contacts are connected to the second three-phase switch fixed contacts whose mobile contact is coupled through, e.g. a lamp.</p> |
