Wind energy converter with single vane - is fitted with overload control and operates heating or pumping system through jack

The wind energy driven generator consists of a wind vane hinged onto a pivot with a counterweight mounted so that the centre of gravity is behind the axis of the pivot. A balance weight pivots on two bearings which are fitted with rubber blocks. The system is fitted with an overload control. This feathers the blades. The balance weight is connected to a crank and a single jack is fitted to the shaft.
