Herbicidal title compds. (I; R1 = lower alkyl; alkenyl; R2 = lower alkyl; X = H; n = 1-3) were prepd. by rearrangement of pyrazoles (II) in the presence of 1.2 mol(on the basis of 1 mol II). Thus, 25.1 g II(R1, R2 = CH3; X = (Cl, n=1) and 15 g AlCl3 were heated at 120oC for lhr followed by cooling with 100 ml C6H6, seperating of organic layer with 100 ml H2O and removing solvent under reduced pressure to give 23.6g I(R1, R2 = CH3; X = Cl; n = 1).
