PURPOSE:To uniformly distribute the adhesive agent of a medium and to improve the balance during rotation of the medium by providing 1st and 2nd transparent substrates which cooperatively form a part for pooling the excessive adhesive agent to the medium. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd transparent substrates 1A, 1B are made of polycarbonate. These substrates 1A, 1B are subjected to a degassing treatment in a vacuum. Protective layers 5A, 5B are formed by sputtering AlN and information recording layers 6A, 6B are formed by sputtering Tl and Se, etc.; thereafter, the protective layers 7A, 7B are formed on the information recording layers 6A, 6B. The epoxy adhesive agent 3 is then coated by a screen printing method to 20mum thickness on the surface of the 1st transparent substrate 1A on which the information recording layer is provided. The two substrates 1A, 1B are superposed and adhered in a vacuum atmosphere. The excess adhesive agent accumulates in the pool part 8 at this time. The optical recording medium is hardly changed in the initial values of both the Kerr rotating angle and coercive force even in the atmosphere of 60 deg.C and 95% relative humidity after curing of the adhesive agent 3. |
