The hollow section of synthetic material is particularly intended to be used as a guiding road stone. It has a mantle (24) formed by two layers. The outer layer (22) is comprised of a thin wall and carries coloured pigments, adapted for the contemplated use. The inner layer (20) is several times thicker than the outer layer, is black pigmented, preferably by means of carbon black, so as to present a high stability to ultraviolet radiations, to form a core providing the section resistance and also allowing a desired outer coloration. The hollow section may be extruded into two layers. The inner layer of the mantle (20) may be integral with two reinforcement cross-bars (30, 32) arranged perpendicularly in a cross inside the section space (28). To make the inner layer (20) visible from outside, the outer layer, of a thickness of about 0.5 mm., may be removed at desired locations.
