PURPOSE:To enhance wear proof, corrosion resistance and decorative properties by forming a hard layer of TiN-C having a specific thickness and a hardness on a surface of a watch case comprising an Ni alloy comprising a specific component composition such as Cr, Al and having a predetermined hardness. CONSTITUTION:The exterior parts of the hard metal are obtained by forming the hard layer of TiNC with a coating thickness of 0.1-20mum and a hardness Hv of 900-2,500 on the surface of a hard watch case comprising an Ni alloy material consisted of 10-50% of Cr, 1-6% of Al and the balance of Ni and inevitable impurities in the wt% basis and having a Microvickers' hardness Hv of 300-900. Because these parts are excellent in wear proof and flaws are not formed even in long period use as well as a beautiful golden color is displayed and a commodity value is enhanced. |
